We’ve all fallen in love with a hero in a book.
There’s something about the way he talks, whether he uses common slang, has a southern accent, or is simply a smooth talker easing his way into the heroine’s panties with every sentence he lays.
Or the way he’s described with a swagger out of this world, usually a larger-than-life “hammer”, and a body crafted so perfectly that you could eat off of it.
Or even the way he engages with the heroine, giving love like we’ve never seen before and can only wish for in our own lives.
Some of the heroes lock us in so tight that we fight over them as if they aren’t fictional.
(Don’t act like you’ve never side-eyed somebody for claiming your book bae. lol)
But if you could build-a-book bae of your own, what would he be like?
What kind of occupation would he have?
Does he use baby, or love, or darlin’? (Hey Harlan bae!)
Is he an alpha male?
Or is he such a sweetheart that it makes your teeth hurt?
Does he live in a million-dollar home on the lake or in a high-rise condo?
Now let’s be real, our heroes – our beloved book baes – are never, ever completely perfect, right? They may have baby mama drama, a live-in ex, or a not-so-legal occupation. They may be a mama’s boy, or just never seem to know the right thing to say. Yet, by the end of the book they often feel as close to perfect as perfect gets.
So here’s the test:
You have 10 points to build your perfect book bae.
Traits are scaled differently so choose wisely!
Leave your must-haves in the comments.
And if you dare, claim your book bae!
