I think I’ve said this a few times, but its necessary to say it again. I love great beginnings…The start of this story began with a break-up between the hero and the heroine. Now, now, that revved my engine and had my pissed off juices flowing in full force. Toussaint and Summer’s break-up was so cold and unfeeling. This was crude especially after the couple had just copulated. I loved it because that scene had me in angry mode. You know, I hope she shows you mood. Head high and nose in the air mood. Ready to read mood.
This was the third season in the Robinson series. Summer was the featured this time. She and Toussaint were the couple of the hour. A few things piqued my interest in this story. One of the points of interest I enjoyed immensely were the times Summer described Toussaint. Hot sex in a suit, etc. etc. That’s quite an enticing visual. Naturally, I was happy the breakup did not last too long as this couple had an explosive relationship. Their electric nature detonated anytime they were within a few feet of one another. In the beginning of whatever they were doing, neither had defined the parameters of their relationship. When the relationship ended it was devastating for Toussaint as well as Summer. I was so so happy when a new assignment brought the couple back together again, and happily back in one another’s arms. Their relationship felt real. Their relationship felt like a real couple I could easily relate to. Each interaction was a nice, sexy, and keenly hot scene. The story was fluid and flowed easily. The plot and twists were realistic, and the ending was fulfilling. The title of this story was very true. Toussaint and Summer definitely found an alternate ending to their once volatile relationship. This was a solid story, an easy read. My rating of 4.7 stars was well deserved.
