The second story in the Anderson brothers’ series was an easier read. The story flowed much faster and the connecting story made sense as a follow-up story for Kevin and Trinity as they were introduced in book one.
Kevin’s story gave readers more history about the Anderson brothers and their family. The abusive father and the acts he put the boys through before his untimely death. Yea! the slimy, grimy piece of sh!+!!! Oh sorry, I digress… Okay, I’m good now… Kevin was also know as Kevitron the Deejay, and former standout athlete was the focus of this story, and his lady Trinity. I’m just so happy that authors now recognize that a Sistah with curves is just as lovely as the skinny girl. Trinity was curvy and just the right size for Kevin’s’ taste buds… It was lusty when Kevin spoke about her body, he spoke about her physic lovingly… Trinity did not give off an air of worry about her size.. I said go ahead with your bad self missy.. This story took readers on Kevin’s journey back to school to complete his degree and to see if he could finally make it in the NBA.. The trials and issues with a relationship surfaced as always, yet this story did not fall in the trap as the first story did midway through. The crescendo this time was nicely done. The only area of concern was how easily Kevin was able to get Trinity’s sister Faith out of the deep doo doo she was involved in with the dope boys.. Maybe she’ll revisit that little tidbit in the third book. The story flowed easily, the characters were more developed as readers met them in the first book. The sexual encounters were well done and meaningful. The chemistry was tighter with this couple. The story was long, yet still very nicely told. The story was a 4.5 stars for this reviewer.
