The reader meets Amir and Jordyn as they are on vacation seeking respite from their failed relationships. This book has the coincidental popular-boy-meets-reserved-girl rhythm. However, the difference here is the open-mouthed, wide-eyed twist at the beginning that will pace the story. The twist resurfaces at several points. It will force Jordyn to release hurt and doubt of the past to make room for something new. As successful and confident as Amir is on and off the field, he deals with hesitation about how to face his true feelings about Jordyn. At first sight, they are seemingly unfamiliar with each other until they realize a small detail that threaded them together all along.

Let Me Be Your Motivation is a light read with a hint of drama and a lot of humor to keep you flipping the page. Check this one out. 4 stars.
