Hi! I’m Louise, a contemporary romance author and hopeful romantic writing steamy romances full of heart and healing.
My goal is to always provide Black women with diverse and meaningful representation in romance novel pages. Wanting see even more women like myself headlining positive love stories, I launched #HappyBlackRomance; a community of readers and writers committed creating and sharing positive romance stories featuring Black characters.
My plots highlight the joys of Black relationships across the diaspora; pushing readers from all cultural backgrounds to admire them for their strength and downright sexiness. In my novels sparks always fly; the sex amazes; and the characters always leave the world better than they found it through their love.

Nikki-Michelle resides in Metro- Atlanta, Georgia by way of Lexington, Mississippi. Carried by her love of reading, she began writing at the early age of twelve and has been on a journey of “trying” to pen the perfect novel ever since (she’s still working on that).

Born and raised in the Nation’s Capital, Washington, DC, Kimmie Ferrell has enjoyed reading romance novels since the age of thirteen when she was gifted an enormous box of Harlequin and Silhouette novels from her late mother. Her passion for reading grew after discovering BET Arabesque novels at her local library. But it wasn’t until high school when Kimmie tried (and failed) to write her very first story.
