Hi! My name is Cachline Etienne and I am an young adult and romance fiction author an poet. My young adult books focus on black girls’ experience and my romance books focus on black love. The romance books I write promote non- toxic black love and are usually novellas. Black love is beautiful and with each book i hope to properly represent the same.
Joi Jackson currently lives in Atlanta, GA and has loved romance novels since the Sweet Valley High days. She writes diverse swoony romances with strong heroines that love technology. Creating love stories that make readers laugh, fall in love with the characters and maybe even learn something is her goal.
Naomi Rivers is a wife writing team and retired U.S. veterans who craft heartfelt lesbian romance and women’s fiction filled with love, connection, and happily ever afters. Their debut novel, THIS: A Simple, Complex Love Story, was twenty years in the making, written to stay connected during multiple military deployments. They now live on the East Coast with their two rescue dogs.
I write stories that make me feel good. Stories that speak to that little girl from the Westside of Detroit and tell her that her imagination will take her far if she just lets it.
The stories I write are for the girls that want to just live in their sexuality and to be free in who they are naturally. It took me a long time to love who I am the way God made me. Who am I to not encourage others to do the same?
While I’m new to the scene, I’m here to write the stories of my own heart, my own fantasies, and to bring a few folks along for the ride.
I am a homebody from Douglasville, GA who loves reading, playing Sims, watching sports (mostly basketball), working out (‘loves’ might be a little strong on this one but I do it anyway), and hanging out with my son. I’m also admittedly greedy and can oftentimes be too easily bribed with deliciousness.
Writing is absolutely my first love but I’m also a massage therapist, a freelance copywriter, a ghostwriter, and am currently working towards my degree is Communications. When I’m not writing my contemporary sexy funny messy Black novels, I love watching old sitcoms and movies and listening to 90s R&B, or some comedy special (I love to laugh). Or just chilling in the corner of my couch in my hooded blanket playing Bejeweled. I’m fun. 🤭

Nikki Davenport has been crafting stories about falling in love for as long as she can remember. She is passionate about showcasing Black love positively–in all its beautiful, messy, life-changing glory. She writes steamy Black-on-Black contemporary romance, where friendships are strong, damsels save themselves, and swoon-worthy heroes go all out for their women. Nikki’s flagship Destination: Lytua series centers on the lives and loves of a small island nation in the Caribbean. Imagine a matrilineal society of well-educated, progressive Black folks that was never colonized. This fictitious place is a mashup of Bridgerton and Wakanda. Lytua has an elected Queen with a cadre of special forces protectors, called the Elite Guard.
Nikki holds a BA in History and a Master’s in Social Work. Paddling with a dragon boat racing team of fellow breast cancer survivors and working in the education field keep Nikki busy.
She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, two snarky teens, and a pair of spoiled feline overlords. She belongs to a fabulous book club and is almost always listening to an audiobook or podcast.
