Talena Tillman, born Talena Sam, graced this world with her presence on April 16, 1993. She was born and raised in Houston, TX. She’s a devoted wife, a loving mother to three bundles of joy, and a multi-genre author. She writes urban fiction and urban romance. Talena has always been an avid reader. Reading, writing, and shopping are her hobbies. And although today, her career is working with children, she continues to make time for one of her greatest passions, writing.
Son of a carpenter and a nanny, Rod Palmer was born in a historic Gullah Geechie community in Charleston, SC. He received his degrees in creative writing and Afro studies at the University of South Carolina before becoming an author, and growing a list of seven published novels and counting. I’ve been writing since I learned cursive. It started with poetry in high school, and then I began embellishing those poems with background stories, interesting characters, etc. Influenced by the likes of Brenda Jackson, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Christina C. Jones, so far, I’m having fun creating stories about healthy Black romance sprinkled with tidbits of family drama.
