The title was super dope, and the novel was a great read by this author. I’ve read other books by this author and enjoyed them but, this story was next level goodness. I was taken aback a bit at how much this story delighted me. The premise for having a one-night stand to turn into a possible long-term love was well done. As always, the couple had some back and forth action as expected, yet the way the story revealed the plot well done.

Presson Palmer was a businesswoman set out to have a successful operation. She imagined the inevitable possibility when the opportunity presented for her to work alongside Kross Alexander, a prominent businessman in the area. Their meeting and attraction caught fire quickly, and the need to squelch their desire never materialized. Then what had happened was, a bodacious boulder of determination rolled rapidly towards a relationship for them.

The premise of the story was about a couple falling in love within 24 hours. And to add, the story gave readers a real enough story to believe Presson and Kross would find love in such a short period. There was sufficient character development to have a clear point of view and a plot to attach the actions in the story. The couple’s interactions gave readers a chance to discover the magic behind the author’s words with the picture painted on the broad canvas. It is wonderful to have a great ancillary cast of characters to help mold the story, and in this case, the author did a great job with the way the extras seamlessly filled in the backstory pages to influence the story. If readers are looking for a new author to consider, try Kendra Reeves. The book earned 5 stars.
